The Community Service Committee works with other PLAA committees to identify local community organizations in need of funding or volunteering and subsequently implements projects that are in alignment with those needs.  The Committee hopes to play a part in making local communities better places to live and to work.

Some examples of community service projects we have done are: collected and delivered blankets to local personal care homes, prepared bagged lunches for summer camp at Urban Impact, a local not profit-organization helping the residents of urban communities, and our annual Thanksgiving food drive.
